About Us

Finding the right gym that will welcome you can be difficult especially when you’re new to the area. It’s always important for us to see our daughter put her trust in her coaches and be comfortable in her environment. Coach Noah and Coach Ethan have been amazing professors to her and all the kids in her class. When you see the kids bond and have fun during practice is when you know you’re in the right place. We highly recommend them.

Excellent gym! A very welcoming and friendly environment. Everybody there is respectful and motivating towards one another. The coaches are awesome! Very knowledgeable and experienced. They demonstrate willingness to help all of their students, beginner to advanced. There is a sense of family and friendship within the gym. Finally, as a teacher I personally strive for children to persevere and reach their potential while having fun. The kids classes at Black Sheep also do just that. All the kids seem to have fun and enjoy the practices. It is a great environment, set by the coaches, for the children.

Dropped in for a class with the Black Sheep and brought along my nephew for his 1st class. The instruction by the coaches was very good. The mats were clean as was the rest of the academy. My only regret is not living in El Paso to continue training here. You want to learn BJJ, this is the place. Great atmosphere, I could not have chosen a better place for my nephew to begin his journey. Thank you guys.
